Every five years, the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) develops a Long-Term Accommodation and Program Plan (LTAPP) to shape the future of schools and programs over the next 15 years. This plan looks at things like student accommodation, facility use optimization, existing program distribution and programming considerations. It supports the Board’s mission to nurture faith and academic excellence in a Catholic learning community and aligns with the Board’s long-term goals and the three key pillars of its Multi-Year Strategic Plan (MYSP): Knowledge, Justice, and Hope. The LTAPP aims to: •Ensure fair and equal access to educational programs for all students. •Make the best use of school facilities by analyzing enrollment trends and demographic data. •Reviewing changes in enrollment and boundary implications. • Plan for future needs, including new schools or school expansions. •Explore opportunities for partnerships and community use of school spaces. To date, a draft plan that incorporates feedback from trustees, school administration, and consultant-based research has been created. The draft plan can be viewed HERE: XX. To ensure broader TCDSB community feedback is reflected in the final plan, we are seeking your valuable input on the draft LTAPP. The survey will take approximately 15 minutes or less to complete. Your responses will be kept confidential and anonymous. Responses will be summarized and reported at the Board level.
