The Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) is seeking community engagement on its 2025 - 2026 Budget. To help guide our budget decisions, we are seeking input from TCDSB community members on budget priorities.

Purpose: Develop a Multi-Year Financial Recovery Plan (MYFRP) to restore financial stability that includes stakeholder feedback.

What is the Board’s current financial landscape?

We’re facing significant financial challenges, with an annual operating deficit of $65.9M million on a total budget of approximately $1.2 billion.

Why does this matter and how does it impact you?

Due to our current financial landscape, we need to make thoughtful decisions about how we manage our resources and adjust spending to reduce this deficit, while minimizing impact on student learning and well-being. Your feedback will be considered when finalizing the budget and will help us make informed decisions to support our students, staff, and schools.

The survey will go live on Thursday, April 3 at 6:30 p.m.

This session will provide you with an overview of our budget process, financial landscape, considerations and an opportunity to ask questions.
